With the rapid development of China's economy, material products have become greatly enriched, bringing rare opportunities for the packaging machinery industry. However, due to limitations in domestic technological capabilities, the technical competence of local packaging machinery and related equipment lags behind that of foreign countries. In addition, after China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO), a large amount of foreign packaging machinery at relatively low prices entered the Chinese market, presenting significant challenges to the domestic packaging machinery industry.
The word "crisis" implies both danger and opportunity. Currently, China's packaging machinery industry is in an era where opportunities and challenges coexist. Domestic enterprises must face not only the impact of high-end foreign packaging machinery but also fierce competition within the domestic industry. Those that survive this competition will be the outstanding packaging machinery R&D and manufacturing companies. At the same time, after joining the WTO, China can also export its packaging machinery to other countries, which greatly promotes the development of the domestic packaging machinery industry.
China has been a member of the WTO for more than ten years, which means it no longer enjoys the special protection period of the first decade and must compete fairly with packaging machinery from other countries. Faced with such significant challenges, China's packaging machinery industry will take corresponding measures to promote its development rather than waiting to be eliminated.
In the future, China's packaging machinery will have a broader stage for development. As long as technical quality is guaranteed, it will surely embrace good development opportunities. Even if domestic packaging machinery cannot yet match the high-end level of foreign products, as long as ordinary models have a price advantage, they can still achieve solid development.
